Communication Activities
A number of activities have been designed to increase public awareness of biotechnology, biosafety and increase ability to participate in decision making, they are:
- Maintaining the Biovision website and promote wide usage,
- Organizing training workshops and study tours for specific target groups,
- Organizing biotechnology/biosafety debates for public participation,
- Organizing scientists and media interactionse,
- Participating in public events such as exhibitions and fairs,
- Producing and broadcasting radio and television materials,
- Producing and disseminating targeted print materials such as Newsletter, Newspaper articles, posters, brochures, leaflets and books, and
- Support networking and information sharing.
